Title: Wow!! What a powerful headset!
Review: My first reaction to hearing the sound from the mic…wow!! The Yeahlink BH71 headset went above and beyond my expectations! The sound is incredibly powerful and the mic is spot on in vocal frequencies. Easy to learn and control. All in a compact, easy to carry kit that fits in a shirt pocket!This honestly sounds better than my far more expensive lavalier mics for conversational tones without any post processing. The audio is nice and bright and is ‘in your face’ instead of being quashed by too much noise cancellation or muddy low end. I was blown away at how strong the signal was so the preamps must be of great quality. It’s the perfect frequency range for Zoom calls, phone convos, livestreaming over music, etc. With that said, the noise cancellation is incredibly good. I was able to livestream over background music playing in the studio speakers without any crossover, echo, or feedback. That’s pretty rare in my experience and opens up more possibilities for use when monitoring the audio.Sound from the earpiece is quite good. Its made for clarity and not really for extended listening to music, although you can certainly listen to music while waiting for calls. The buttons on the earpiece are very easy to learn and control. It becomes second nature very quickly after just a couple of uses.The Bluetooth 5.2 is wonderfully quick to pair, and can even pair two devices at the same time. There is an audible signal that tells you (verbally) when it’s paired, powered on, and powered off. The volume knob on the earpiece is easy to control and also gives an audible when minimal or maximum volume is reached. There is also a mute button on the mic boom, also with an audible when muted, and not muted. I did have the mute button not respond once or twice, and I’m not sure if it was just operator error or a glitch, but it was just those two times. It’s worked perfectly since. Please note that when connecting to a PC you should double check your sound settings on the PC to make sure you are connecting to the right signal for what you want, either voice or music.Comes with multiple sized ear pieces and proprietary magnetic charging cable. Charging is adequately fast and has a light to let you know when it’s ready to go. The cable dock is very compact and I recommend keeping it on a flat surface while charging as to not knock the earpiece out of the dock. Fitment is easy as you have an adjustable ear extension and rotatable boom for either ear. Surprisingly comfortable to wear for hours without discomfort.Yeahlink is known for producing top notch headset kits and this is no exception. This kit I have is the Yealink BH71 Lite which is the most compact and east to carry unit. The sound is professional quality and a great deal for a super compact, on-the-go headset kit. Recommended!

Title: Proprietary charging cable
Review: This headset has been working very well for me. I really like the dedicated volume control. It’s a rotating knob so it’s easy to adjust without interfering with the other buttons. This headset can be used with either ear. Note: The volume control direction reverses when switching ears because the headset is flipped over. On the left ear you rotate the knob counter-clockwise to increase the volume and clockwise to decrease the volume. The headset connected without any issues. There’s an optional app that can be used to adjust the frequency response of the equalizer. The only thing I dislike is the charging cable. I love the magnetic connection but it’s a proprietary design. This means you have to haul this one cable around with you in order to charge the battery. A usb-c port would have been far more useful because those cables are everywhere. At home, in the car, at work etc. You could even borrow a cable if needed. Not with this headset. I was unable to find a replacement cable listing on Amazon. Other than that I like this headset. I’ve used it for several hours I had no battery life issues. I’m happy with the range of the Bluetooth wireless.

Title: Great headset that pairs with my two devices!
Review: I’ve been using my regular bluetooth earbuds for answering phone calls in the office. They work pretty well, but I found the mic is very sensitive and usually the caller can hear the conversation from my coworker to the left of me. So I’ve been looking for an alternative solution. But the features I’m looking for in an earpiece are some form of noise cancellation for the mic and support for multipoint so I can connect two devices at the same time. Fortunately, this earpiece works great!The earpiece itself doesn’t go inside your ear like earbuds, it basically sits in it so wax doesn’t get pushed down your ear canal. It look some time for me to get used to the fit. It will fit loose since it literally sits on your ear. It does come with 3 eartips of different sizes but found that the large size fits the best for me. Since I use an Yealink phone, I was able to pair to it very easily and quickly. I have no problem answering calls and the caller can hear just me. The mic can be adjusted at different angles and can also be fitted for either the left ear or the right ear. It comes with a magnetic charging cable that comes with a descent length.Other features of the earpiece includes a button to answer and reject calls. There is a separate mute button. There is no light that tells you that you’re mute, it instead says your muted until you press the button again. There is a volume dial you rotate which is very simple to operate.It does takes time to get used to the fit, but I’ve enjoyed using the headset so far in my time of using it.
