If you have a SLR or DSLR camera and other maker/mount lenses, the Fotodiox Mount Adapters allow you to use your lenses on the film/digital camera body. Sharing lenses has some distinct advantages. Certain prime lens just can’t be replaced, and you save the cost of purchase on new lenses. Fotodiox offers a range of adapter from large format to smaller format digital adapters. Adapting larger format lens to smaller format sensors (i.e: large format to medium format, medium format to 35mm, 35mm to micro 4/3) provides excellent edge-to-edge sharpness. The smaller image field helps minimize the effects of lens distortion and aberration by using the ‘sweet spot’ or center of the larger lens image circle.
This Fotodiox Pro lens mount adapter is made with high standard precision. It allows Hasselblad V-Mount lenses compatible to 500 / 2000 / 200 / 900 (Except for H-series) series bodies to fit on a Canon EOS camera body.
Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. In this case “stop-down mode” will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. You can shoot with manual mode or aperture priority mode. Infinity focusing is allowed.

Title: Great Adapter
Review: The adapter works great and the lenses look amazing on the 5D Mark III. There’s no play in the connections that I could detect and it feels solid, yet lightweight. Great addition to the camera bag that allows for a new use for some older Hasselblad lenses on my Canon 5D Mark III.

Title: Excellent adapter
Review: Very fast delivery. Works as expected. Somewhat difficult to focus with a t2i but quite acceptable with a 5d. Used with several older ‘blad lenses, all produced quite good results. I would recommend to the adapter with the focus confirmation chip for use with aps c cameras. Best use as a studio tool. Overall the adapter is solid and the tripod mount is a welcome addition.

Title: Hasselblad to Canon
Review: I am using this adapter to mount old Hasselblad lenses on my Canon 5D. It works exactly as advertised. The product is clearly precisely machined. The lenses attach to the adapter and the adapter attaches to the camera as smoothly and securely as Canon lenses. There is no problem with infinity or close focus. The tripod mount is a plus, giving better balance than attaching the tripod to the camera body, especially with long and heavy lenses like the 250mm. There are adapters from other manufacturers that cost over $250. I can’t imagine that they are any better.

Review: I bought it for my hasselblad 50mm FLE lens with Canon 1Ds mark ii body.It works perfect and i can use it with all of my hasselblad lenses together. but As you might know already that it loses auto-focusing, so i have to set manual mode and tried to focus manully. It seems to work for landscape shoot only with tripod not portrait(escpecially kids), sports and regular use cases.

Title: Great adapter
Review: Great tool to adapt Hass lenses to my Black Magic 6k. These “old” lenses were the best in the biz and while they are manual (and not useful with cine accessories), I was delighted to have them work for the uses I had for them, with this quality adapter. The Hass lenses always had a “look” and their sharpness is undiminished. If you are lucky enough to have any of these Hasselblad lenses, start using them, you will be blown away by the results.

Review: I use a Canon EOS D Mark III and Ds Mark II with Hasselblad lenses, so, require an adaptor. I bought one from Amazon years ago, and, it has served me well. The adaptor I just purchased fits my Canon body and Hasselblad lenses securely, is heavier construction that the one I have been using, and, I expect it to last at least as long as the adaptor I purchased years ago.Although I have not used this unit to take photos, I gave it a 5-star rating, based on construction and secure fit.
