Review: I’ve been using tretinoin every other day for the last year or so and I needed a mask or some really hydrating formula to give me back my moisture in the face. I thought about masks and this one stuck out to me because i’ve tried the regular popular snail mucin bottle before so I would think the mask is more moisturizing- cause it’s a mask. It really has helped with the moisture in my face, not breaking me out but making my skin bouncy again. There isn’t a smell and it worked quite well. I think the price was right for a pack of 10. Review: I am new to this Korean skincare/beauty brand, but had read several glowing reviews, especially about the Snail Mucin Sheet Mask, I decided to give it a go.Up front, the mask is slimy which shouldn’t come as a shock given its main ingredient (96%) is the slimy secretion produced by snails. Best not to think about that, and no, snails are not harmed to extract the slime.Downside: Because the mask is slippery, it can be tricky to apply, and there is a lot of mucin, so much so, I apply the extra to my arms and hands. Even so, it can feel a tad sticky, but there is very little scent.Upside: One of the most hydrating, moisture boosting masks I’ve used, and my skin really does feel soft and look brighter afterwards.Sheets come in packs of ten and I think the cost is reasonable and the results, very good. I use the mask either at night before bed, or before an event to brighten and plump my skin.
