Title: One Year Review!
Review: I’ll try to make a long story short. I work in the broadcast news industry and I cannot tell you how much these little bad boys has saved our shoots! Be it that it can be battery powered is the biggest plus! It doesn’t beat the sun but it definitely helps as filler lights if needed. As for a controlled environment… perfection! It has bluetooth control through Neewer’s app and a host of cool FX functions as well. The reflector throws the light to give more power, and it comes with a bowens mount adapter to add soft boxes and other bowens diffusers. I never have issues out of the Neewer brand!!! 5 stars.

Title: Amazing Budget Light
Review: This is my first “professional” light that I’ve gotten for myself. I have used aperture and godox lights for other projects, but have been needing a light for my own shoots and don’t particularly have the budget for those kind of lights.I have been using this light for a couple weeks now and I’ve got to say it’s a great bang for your buck! It is one of the cheapest (yet quality) bi color cob light there is. It is extremely bright for how small it is, it easily filled a 10×10 room with enough light to spare (I only ran it on 60%). I love the FX features it has, but more importantly it has the option to be powered with NPF batteries.One downside though, is that with the included dish, it produces a spotlight with a very bright center, and bad falloff around the edges instead of a clean spotlight like most people would prefer. It does have a Bowens mount adapter so you can use a better dish and other modifiers, which I would recommend to use instead of the included dish.Overall great entry-mid level light that seems like it should last you a good amount of time before upgrading to the big boy lights. Title: I’m loving these lights
Review: I use 3 of these for a small set up and absolutely love them. They are quick to setup and with the batteries (sold separately) they are very fast to put up and tear down. No searching for an outlet and no dragging chords around and taping things down. I love the app to control these with, it’s very easy to use and so far haven’t had any major issues with the app or using the lights with the app. I do wish the Bowens mount was just built into the light rather than having an adapter. The adapter feels a bit on the cheap side but so far I haven’t had any issues with it. It’s just one more thing to fuss with during set up that could save a few minutes of time if they just made it part of the light. The power button and controls on the back are very easy to figure out and I like the simplicity. You can plug these lights into a power adapter if you like and on anything longer than 2 hours a full power I would recommend unless you have backup batteries to swap out. Which would take less than a minute to do. My only issue with these lights is that I wish they included the batteries to begin with. Seems like a bit of a money grab to just not include them, escpecially when they include the V-Mount adapter to hold the batteries. The fan is super quiet. I haven’t heard it come on but I imagine it is on. So far so good and I’d recommend for an affordable light weight set up.

Review: Great portable 60 Watt bi-color COB light. As always with all things photographic and video related I agonize over such purchases like the fate of the world depends on it. TLDR; I read through all the usual suspect’s offerings — but there always seemed to be some deal breaker (including price). Not this. Ticked all the boxes and at the right price. App is terrific and easy to set-up (at least on Android). — Okay, so maybe it doesn’t come with a bag of chips, but it may as well have had one in the carrying case. Did I mention it comes with a carrying case? And a full-sized bowens mount adapter? And a battery plate? And a pretty long AC power cord, and…

Review: Compré esta luz porque necesitaba más potencia, tengo la ms60c y en comparación con esta ms150b no hay diferencia de potencia cuando se ocupa con baterías np-f970, yo esperaba una diferencia considerable, pero es inexistente, la diferencia solo se nota cuando se enchufa a la corriente de luz, pero no siempre tienes a la mano esta opción cuando estás trabajando, no la recomiendo porque con baterías tiene casi exactamente lo mismo que la ms60c, con la desventaja que es más grande y el adaptador de corriente también es mucho más pesado y grande. No la recomiendo

Review: The light comes in a very nice zippered carrying bag. It is super compact — a very useful size for a portable hand-held light.The molded grip feels great in the hand. But although it’s designed to be hand-holdable, I find it pretty heavy when plugged into AC and even heavier still when equipped with two batteries. You wouldn’t want to hand hold this light up for a long period of shooting.I mostly used it on a light stand (a Neewer c-stand).It comes with a few accessories, and the mini-mount to Bowens adapter is especially useful. The velcro strap clip-on arrangement for mounting the AC adapter to a light stand is inconvenient as compared to a simple flexi-wire lanyard that I’m used to with my other video lights.The light’s fan runs immediately when powered on in the default Auto mode, and seems to always run. The entire light stays cool operating for an hour at 33% intensity, and just barely warm at 100% intensity for the same amount of time. No issues with touching this light anywhere — except of course don’t touch the COB LED!The light intensity range from 0 to 100 works well and at 0 it is fully extinguished. The light output at maximum intensity with the included reflector is as claimed. (Measured with my Sekonic light meter.)However, the light pattern circle is not ideal. There is a pronounced center hot spot with a large, dimmer disk around it. This cries out for future product improvement. I tried a Godox reflector on the mini-to-maxi adapter and the resulting light pattern was broader and a little more even with reduced intensity at 1 meter. (about 30000 Lux). But the light pattern intensity was in three very distinct rings, and not the gradual roll-off one expects.The reflector’s light pattern issues would not be an issue when using a softbox or umbrella instead.Other issues I found:There’s no protective cover for the bare COB LED array when the light is being stored or transported.I wish the colour temperature range went from 2500 to 7500 Kelvin. It only covers 2700K to 6500K.The release for the mini mount ends up hidden under the mini-to-maxi adapter. If you mistakenly attach the mini reflector when the adapter is installed you have to fiddle around removing the mini-to-maxi adapter part way to release it. In fairness the manual mentions not using the reflector like this, but doesn’t say why not.The rear adjustment dials work okay but feel a little cheap.
