Please Note: The laptop system needs to be upgraded to macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later, because only versions after 10.13 have the Nvme protocol, so please use the original SSD to upgrade the MacOS system before installing a new SSD. 2013 and 2014 laptops do not fully support Nvme SSD EFI firmware. 2013 and 2014 laptops may not recognize the hard disk after installation, you can format and install Mojave through Mojave’s U disk boot disk, and restore the saved backup.
